Big Canoe Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise getting people active on the waters of Southern Georgian Bay in our 29' canoe. With the help of the Canadian Voyageur Brigades, the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association, the Georgian Bay Biosphere, the Lake Huron Center for Coastal Conservation and Water Rangers we immerse people in the experience, teachings and best stewardship practices of the ecosystem we're lucky enough to call home. While out on the water in Owen Sound, Meaford, Collingwood and Lake Eugenia, participants get involved with the collection of water quality data using kits supplied by Water Rangers.
