10.25976/634j-px31

The Maritime Aboriginal Peoples Council as a regional Aboriginal Peoples Advocacy Group, has the expertise and capacity to undertake a range of “pilot or regional” programs or initiatives. One of these projects is the In-Situ Egg Incubation Project, which aims at understanding survivability of the endangered inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic salmon in hopes of recovery. Potential sites for the planting of the fertilized eggs were monitored extensively, including water quality parameters and the fluvial dynamics.
