Joe Brook Habitat Assessment

Habitat assessments were conducted along Joe Brook during the summer of 2021, covering a total distance of 7.7 km. In-situ data was collected with a Hanna probe every 100 meters. Channel characteristics, substrate characteristics and riparian characteristics were collected every 25 meters. The idea was establish baseline data and to get an idea of the state of the habitat. The New Brunswick Wildlife Trust Fund provided the funding that made this project possible.
